Erected by James Carroll in memory of his son Patrick Carroll who died 1st June 1788 aged 20 years. Also his daughter Anne Carroll she died the year 1799 aged 14 years.

Michael Carroll Dunnamaggin died 20th Sept 1956 aged 87 yrs. His wife Bridget nee Tobin lamogue Windgap died 6th Nov 1951 aged 73 yrs. And eight of their children died in infancy. Also their daughter Anastasia (Stasia) Carroll died 25th Jan 2001 aged 83 yrs.
