Underneath this stone are deposited the remains of Rev. Laurence Burke who departed this life the 26th day of Feb. 1842 in the fifty first year of his age. This tomb has been erected to his memory by his father Patrick Burke of Drumcommogue as a small tribute of paternal love and affection. [Ino Byrne fecit].
