Edmond John (E J) Mitchell 1876-1944, son of Edmond Mitchell 1848-1929 & Catherine (Kate) Murphy 1846-1928 of Benrue House, Lodge, Hospital, Co. Limerick, married Sarah Josephine Graham 1887-1973, daughter of Michael Graham 1836-1891 & Mary Frost 1859-1945 of coonagh East, Co. Limerick on Feb 17th 1909 in Meelick RC, Co. Clare.

Children born to them in Hospital, Co. Limerick included Edmond Joseph Mitchell 1909-1979, Mary 1911-1911, Michael Patrick 1912, Kathleen Bernadette (Bernie) 1913-2000, Matthew Francis (Matt) 1916-1992 & Mary Teresa 1922.

Kathleen (Bernie) Mitchell 1913-2000, married Morgan P O'Brien 1911-1962, son of Morgan O'Brien 1858-1927 & Margaret Quane 1877-1916 of Ardnamoher, Galbally, Co. Limerick on Feb 27th 1935 in St Josephs RC, Limerick City. Bernie died on Sep 22nd 2000 at Aughavoona, House, Mitchelstowndown, Garryspillane, Co. Limerick. Mary Anne Mitchell (nee) Cagney died April 2nd 2007.

Notes for Edmond John (E J) Mitchell 1876-1944. At the time of his marriage and for the births of his first four children, his occupation was recorded as a Petty Sessions Court clerk and for the births of his last two children, his occupation was recorded as a hardware merchant. Recorded as an auctioneer at the time of his daughter Kathleen Bernadette's  marriage in 1935.
