To the memory of

JOHN ADOLPHUS BOWLES LL.D. who departed this life at Paris

on the 13th day of September 1842

aged 32 Years.

The strength and fervor of his filial and Fraternal Love together

with the sincerity of his attachments, have endeared his memory to sorrowing

relatives and to admiring friends.

Whilst the flower removed in the height

of its bloom, having been nurtured 

in the soil of Christian Piety and

enriched with the spiritual unction

flowing from a lively faith in the

Lord Jesus Christ hs been

transpanted into the Heavenly world.

there to flurish where nothing fadeth

and wehre all rejoiceth.
