Of this city, to the memory of his beloved

Wife Mrs. MARY NOBLE who discharged the

Duties of a loving and affectionate wife

A tender and indulgent mother 

She departed this life April 4th 1824

Aged 38 years

A loving wife lies buried here,

A husband left who loved her dear

With three young children for to mourn

A loss which never can return

Then farewell MARY for a while,

I hope the Lord will on you smile

Until his herald summon me

To be forever blest with thee
