This Stone and Burial place belongeth to / MICHAEL COSTELLO of Thomas Court in the / City of Dublin and his Posterity/ Here lieth the Remains
of the above MR / MICHAEL COSTELLO who departed this life on / 22nd day
of July 1770 in the 27th year of his age / Here also lieth the remains
of his Son / MICHAEL COSTELLO who departed this life on 21st day of
April 1793 in the 22nd year of his age / Mrs BRIDGET COSTELLO has cause
this Stone to be / erected as a small sumory of her grateful / affection
whose inconsolable loss deprived her of / the tender (of) Husband and the best of Son / Here also the Remains of the above Mrs. BRIDGET COSTELLO who
departed this life the 20th.‘of January 1815 (?), aged 80 years
