“Memorial to four Kilkenny Officers” Irish Times of 21 November 1919. The Connellan Memorial Window in St Canice’s Cathedral that was dedicated by the Primate of Ireland.
It commemorated the four grandsons of Peter Connellan
Peter Martin Connellan of the Hampshires who was killed in action in France in October 1914
Roger Cecil Slacke of The Buffs killed in action in France in May 1915
Henry Desmond O’Hara, DSO, of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers who died in August 1915 of wounds sustained in Gallipoli
