In loving memory of Margaret Elizabeth Downs of O’Connell St., Sligo who died 24th June 1914, aged 56 years. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on her soul. And of her husband Thomas Downs died 7th March 1927, aged 84 years. Their daughter Mary Agnes died 22nd March 1976 aged 97 years. Erected by her husband Thomas Downs.
