Notes:

This limestone square topped recumbent stone faces east and has incised Roman lettering.  It measures 7ft1in x 3ft6in x 5in.

At the top of the stone there is a christogram carved in relief with a cross and heart intersecting the H.

The ledger has at the bottom a vocation emblem showing a handsaw and axe, signifiying carpentry or forestry.  Presumably this was not the vocation of Mary but more than likely represents that of her father Hugh.

Whilst the headstone doesn't give an address, the church death records show Mary as being of Ballinahallia and the death date as 17 Nov 1803
