This is a small square top limestone headstone, measuring 1ft6in(H) x 1ft6in(W) x 3in(D).  The inscised script is east facing and at the top there is a simplistic christogram where a tau cross intersects the H.  The stone mason has been economical with space for lettering, ie has used abbreviations and was unconcerned about bad practice of splitting words over separate lines.  The word 'the' on the first line is written as ye
