Notes:

This east facing square top limestone slab measures 6ft4ins(H) x 3ft2ins(W) x 7ins(D). The inscription is simply incised Roman lettering and the mason has used the space saving abbreviation husband for husband .  Under a sunburst arch at the the top of the stone, in false relief, is a christogram intersected by a cross.   Although the gravestone gives Hanora's death as 20 December 1800, the church record gives her death as 21 December 1799.  Further detail from church records show that Laurence Mullowny of Kilcloggaun and Honor Davern of Ballinahallia were married in Moycullen on 19 July 1795.  Their son Nicholas, of Kilcloggaun, was baptised in Moycullen church on 26 August 1797.
