This limestone cross faces east, and measures 1ft8ins(H) x 1ft1in(W) x 2ins(D).  The patibulum that intersects the cross' stem extends by 2½ins on either side.  Above the patibulum, the stem of the cross only extends by 1½ins.  The inscription is simply incised Roman lettering and the mason has been economical with space using an elborated abbreviation which looks like Bo, possibly standing for 'Buried On'.
