This square top east facing limestone slab measures 6ft(H) x 3ft(W) x 4½ins(D). The slab gets slightly wider towards the bottom. The script is simply incised Roman lettering and at the top is a carved circle into which is carved in relief an IHS Christogram intersected by a Cross.  The mason used  superscripting and abbreviations such as depd for departed and Bridgt for Bridget
