Notes: 

The east facing limstone tombstone measures 6ft 2½ins(H) x 3ft2ins(W) x 4ins(D). The inscription is Roman lettering and at the top, carved in relief, is a IHS christogram intersected by a tau cross. Their is a carved arch over the symbols and two further carved symbols on the top right and left corners of the tombstone. The same two symbols are carved at the end of the arch, left and right. The mason split words over separate lines and also used abbreviations such as yrs  for 'years' and depard  'for 'departed'.
