This east facing limestone slab measures 6ft9ins(H) x 3ft2ins(W) x 5ins(D). The script is simple Roman lettering. The mason used superscripting and a lot of abbreviations such as ye for the word 'the' and did for the word 'died'. Note the first letter for the word soul looks like the letter 'f'. In Old English the lowercase letter 's' was frequently written as a long s which looked very much like a modern lowercase 'f' but without the crossbar. There is quite a bit of lichen on the headstone.
