This east facing limestone slab measures 6ft71/4ins(H) x 3ft1in(W) x 4ins(D). The script is simply incised Roman lettering and at the top, carved in relief an IHS christogram. The mason was unconcerned about the bad practice of splitting words over separate lines and also used abbreviations to save space.
