This small east facing headstone leans slightly back. It measures 1ft10ins(H) x 1ft9ins(W) x 31/4ins(W). As the headstone leans slightly to the left the right side is 2ins higher. The lettering on the limestone square topped headstone is incised Roman script.  The mason has used abbreviations such as Died for Died and ye for the word 'the'.  At the top is an IHS christogram in false relief, intersected by a tau cross.  Most likely the surname on this east facing headstone should read Joyce not Joys.
