SUB INSPECTOR OF CONSTABULARY
IN THE HOPE OF A JOYFUL RESURRECTION
WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE IN THE
53 YEAR OF HIS AGE ON THE
11TH DAY OF DEC 1851 AT
BRUFF WHERE HE HAD BEEN
STATIONED FOR 14 YEARS
AND DURING WHICH TIME HE
GAINED THE APPROBATION LOVE
OF ALL CLASSES HE WAS AN HONOURABLE
HUSBAND AND LOVING
PARENT AND HAS LEFT AN AFFLICTED WIDOW
AND SIX CHILDREN TO DEPLORE HIS LOSS
HERE LIED ALSO MARIA HIS INFANT DAUGHTER WHO DEPARTED THIS
LIFE IN BRUFF FEB 8 1844
