Here lies the body of the
Rev^d John Hogan of Drim
who dep^d life A.D. 1820 Aged
82 yrs. The last of those Franciscan
Friars who had been resident
of Drim the place of their refuge
when driven from the Abbey of
Quin he was supported by the
pious donations of the faithful
& served as an auxiliary to his
neighboring parish priests.

In the vineyard of the Lord he

knew how to abound to suffer

want as the lord was pleased

to send he died in holy poverty

respected for his strictness

in religious disciplinary & venerated

by all Qui seminat in lachrymis exultatione metet. Requiescat in pace
