Josephine ( Josie ) McCarthy, nee Gammell, sister of Kenneth and daughter of Bridget Gammell 1933-2001 of this memorial died on Tues17th Jan 2017 and was interred in St Columba's cemetery Pallasgreen on Fri 20th Jan. Her obituary reads as follows :

Josephine McGrath ( nee ) Gammell  of Old Pallas, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick died on Tues 17th January 2017. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.Deeply regretted by her sons Willie & Johnny, daughters Debbie & Tara, father Bill, brothers & sisters, grandchildren Jack, Jake, Holly, Katie, Luke & M.J, sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins, relatives & friends. 

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home Pallasgreen this Thursday evening from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm Removal on Friday morning for 11.30 Requiem Mass in Nicker Church. Burial afterwards in St Columba's Cemetery, Pallasgreen.

William ( Bill ) Gammell 1935-2021, son of John Gammell 1887-1962 & Josie Nugent  and father of Kenneth  and husband of Bridget 1933-2001, of this memorial and father of Josephine McGrath (nee ) Gammell, died on Tues 11th May 2021 and was interred at this memorial on Fri 14th May. His obituary reads as follows :

Bill Gammell, 16 Nicker, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick died on Tues 11th May 2021,peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Bridget ( Bridie ), son Kenneth and daughter Josephine. Deeply regretted by his daughters Ann, Bridget, Eileen, Christina, Theresa & Edel, sons Lar, John, William, Ned Gerry & Michael, brothers Patsy, Tommy & Hugh, sisters Bridie, Josie & Chris, daughters in law, sons in law,sisters in law, brothers in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren , great great grandchild, cousins relatives & friends.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30 o clock in Nicker Church with burial afterwards in Old Pallas cemetery.
