Obituary of his wife Deborah, ( Hett ), aged 87, reads as folows :

Death of Deborah ( Hett )  Franklin ( nee  O'Dwyer ) Garrydoolis, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick on Mon 12th December 2016. Peacefully at University Hospital,  Limerick. Predeceased by her husband Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving sons George, John, Pat, Jim & Joe, sister Sr. Una, daughters in law, brother in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbour's & friends.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Pallasgreen this Wednesday evening from 5 o' clock to 8 o' clock. Removal on Thursday morning 15th for 11.30 a.m Mass in Templebraden Church. Burial afterward's in Old Pallas cemetery.

Her son George Franklin 1966-2026 died on Sep 5th 2026 and was interred in nearby St. Columba's cemetery in Pallasgrean, Co. Limerick. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of George Franklin (Electrical Contractor, Longstone, Cullen, Co. Tipperary) September 5th 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Hett Franklin. Sadly missed by his daughters Michelle, Lucy, Ricki and Gina and their partners John, Timmy, Pa and David, his 7 grandchildren that he absolutely adored, Nicole, Callum ,Connor, Robin, Timothy, Ella and Kyiah, brothers John, Pat, Jim and Joe, sisters-in-law, aunt Sr. Una, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of good friends.

 Reposing at Ryan & Whites Funeral Home Pallasgrean on Tuesday evening (8th September) from 5.30 pm until 7.30 pm. Arriving in St. Brigid’s Church Templebraden on Wednesday morning at 11 am for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s cemetery, Pallasgrean.
