Daniel McMahon abt 1855-1941 married  Jane Kirby abt 1858-1925. Their children included Johanna  McMahon 1886, James 1888-1971, Michael 1891-1968 & Daniel 1896.

Johanna McMahon 1886, married postman John Ryan, son of John Ryan on the 31st Jan 1912 in Templebredon RC, Co. Limerick.

James McMahon 1888-1971 of this memorial, married  Margaret Coleman 1890, daughter of Patrick Coleman & Mary Maher of Turagh, Cappamore, Co. Limerick on the 20th Apr 1913 in Templebredon RC, Co. Limerick. Their children included twins Daniel McMahon 1913 & Anne 1913-1990, Patrick 1914, Jane 1917-2003. James Joseph 1919-1969 & Margaret 1925-1948.

Anne McMahon 1913-1990, married Michael Houlihan 1906-1988, son of Patrick Houlihan & Margaret Lee of Bohergar,Abington, Co. Limerick

James Joseph McMahon 1919-1969, of this memorial, married  Catherine ( Kitty ) O'Brien 1920-1999 on the 16th Dec 1940 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary.

Margaret  McMahon 1925-1948, married John O'Connor, son of Denis O'Connor in Nicker RC, Co, Limerick on the 16th Jan 1946. Their children included Margaret O'Connor 1946, Denis 1947 & James 1948. Margaret O'Connor, nee McMahon died on the 16th Jun 1948 in Reask, Pallasgrean, Co.Limerick.

Daniel, ( Dan ) McMahon, known as Dano 1947-2023, son of James Joseph McMahon 1919-1969 & Catherine ( Kitty ) O'Brien  1920-1999, died on the 17th Jan 2023 and was interred in the new cemetery in Emly< Co. Tipperary on Friday the 20th Jan 2023, near his grandson Thomas O'Sullivan.

His obituary reads as follows :  McMahon, Daniel, ( Dano )  of 1 New Houses, Nicker, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, died 17th January 2023, peacefully at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin

Deeply regretted by his wife Josephine, nee McCarhy, sons James, Dan & Laurence, daughters Catherine, Patricia, Adrienne O'Sullivan & Sarah, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters & brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours, relatives & friends.

Reposing this Thursday evening Jan 19th  at Ryan's Funeral Home, Pallasgreen from 6 o clock to 8 o clock. Requiem Mass on Friday in Nicker church at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the new cemetery in Emly, Co. Tipperary.
