Philip Grace 1833-1894, son of Philip Grace & Catherine Leahy, married Alice Beary 1846-1924 (of this memorial ), daughter  of Michael Beary & Mary Conroy on Feb 20th 1867 in Pallasgrean / Templebredon parish, Co. Limerick.

Children born to Philip & Alice at Plaukarauka, Barna,Templebredon, Co. Limerick included  Patrick Grace 1868, Philip 1870-1871, John 1871, Mary 1873, Catherine 1876, Thomas 1878, Gerald  (of this memorial ) Jul 1st 1881, Alice 1884 & Michael 1886.

Gerald Grace 1881-1972, married  Hannah Landers 1893-1989, daughter of Jeremiah Landers & Catherine Ryan of Foilyclera, Bilboa, Doon, Co. Limerick on Jan 6th 1927 in Doon RC, Co. Limerick. Hannah was born on May 8th 1893.

Their son Patrick (Paddy) Grace died on Jun 29th 2016. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Patrick Grace of  Plaukarauka, Barna, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick on  June 29th 2016, peacefully at the University Hospital Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his loving sons Gerald, Thomas, Declan and daughter Éilín, brother Tom, sister Theresa, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews & niece, grandchildren, mother-in-law, relatives & friends.

Reposing at his home this Friday evening from 6 o clock to 8 o clock. Requiem Mass in Nicker Chuch on Saturday at 11.30 with burial afterwards in Old Pallas cemetery, Co. Limerick.

His brother Thomas (Tom) Grace died on Mar 2nd 2025. His obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Grace of Friar Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary / Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick on Mar 2nd 2025.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Hannah  of Barna, Co. Limerick, brother Paddy. Deeply regretted by his wife Myra (née Bane), daughter Jennifer, son John, grandchildren Katherine, Hannah, Emma, Olwyn, Caroline and Jack, son-in-law Louis Flannery, daughter-in-law Margaret, sister Teresa (McAuliffe), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday 3rd March from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Wednesday 4th March at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Followed by burial in Old Pallas cemetery, Co. Limerick,
