Here lies the body of Mr John Cassin of Ballygardra who depd this life 23rd of April 1781 aged 87 yrs. Also his son Wm Cassin of Kilkenny died Octbr 23rd 1762 agd 25 yrs and his sons Patrick and Richard of Ballygardra and his wife Mrs Cassin alias Carroll who lie interred here. Very Rev. John Cassin P.P. Callan died Sept 24th 1806 aged 66 years.
