This east facing square top limestone slab measures 6ft1ins(H) x 3ft2ins(W) x 4½ins(D) and the bottom right corner of the stone is broken away. The inscription is simply incised Roman lettering.  Although the gravestone gives Nicholas' death as 29 April 1792, the church record gives his death as 27 April 1793.  Further detail from church records show that Nicholas was from the townland of Kilcloggaun.
