This small east facing limestone headstone leans slightly back. It measures 1ft10ins(H) x 1ft9ins(W) x 3½ins(W). As the headstone leans slightly to the left the right side is 2ins higher. The lettering on this square topped headstone is incised Roman script.  The mason has used abbreviations such as Died for died. The next abbreviation is ye This may be an error and possibly refers to the word year.  At the top is an IHS Christogram in false relief, intersected by a Tau Cross.  Most likely the surname on this  headstone should read Joyce not Joys. Their is extensive lichen on the headstone.
