Thomas (Tom) Quish 1933-2004, son of Thomas Quish 1894-1957 & Catherine (Kate) O'Callaghan 1902 -1976, who were married in St Josephs RC, Limerick City on the 11th Feb 1931. A grandson of Thomas Quish 1846-1905 and Catherine Clancy 1855-1920 of nearby memorial 0192 and a great grandson of Thomas Quish 1805-1867 & Sarah O'Neill (1807-1867)  of adjacent memorial 0193.

At the time of his death in 2004, Tom Quish was survived by his wife Peg, nee Twomey, son Paul & daughters Margaret ( Rita ) & Majella.

Tom's wife Margaret ( Peg ) Twomey 1932-2024, daughter of Michael Twomey & Mary Murphy and former teacher at Emly NS, Co. Tipperary, died on the 18th May 2024 and was interred at this memorial on Wed 22nd May 2024. Her obituary reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Margaret ( Peg ) Quish ( née ) Twomey of Monemore, Emly, Co. Tipperary and.late Of Gurtyrahilly, Ballymakeera, Ballyvourney, Co. Cork.

Peg passed away peacefully 18th May 2024 surrounded by her loving family, in the loving care of the staff of Glyntown Care Centre, Glanmire, Cork. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom, brother Sean, sisters Joan, Sheila & Mary.

Beloved mother of Paul, Majella ( Cussen ) & Rita, grandmother to Frank, Pat & Thomas Cussen, Eanna, Conor & Cian Quish and their mother Catherine, great-grandmother to Willsie, Lucy, Norah, Ódhran, Grace & Éabha.

 Sadly missed by her loving family, son in law Ger Cussen, daughter in law Liz, granddaughters in law Aoife, Deirdre & Megan, brother Colman Twomey, sisters Eileen Lucey, & Catherine Moynihan ( Ballymakeera ), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Peg will be lying in repose at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick on this Tuesday evening 21st May from 6pm until 8pm.

Peg's funeral cortège will arrive for requiem Mass in St. Ailbe's Church, Emly, Co. Tipperary, on Wednesday 22nd May at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the Hill Cemetery Knockainey, Co.Limerick
