John   McEniry  1867-1946 ,  son  of   Timothy   McEniry  &  Anne   Collins ,  married   Ann  (Annie)  Hanly  1868 – 1931 , daughter  of  William  Hanly   &   Bridget   Cussen   in   Emly   RC  on  the  18-08-1890.  Their   youngest   child  was   John   McEniry   1912-1993.

The  older  McEniry   children  born   included   Bridget   1891,  Timothy   1893-1953,   Anne   1896,  William   1898-1899,  Mary   1900-1918,   Thomas   1902 ,  Michael   1905-1970,  Kate  1907  &  Johanna  1910-1910.

Catherine ( Kitty )  McEniry, nee O' Leary, daughter - in - law of Michael McEniry 1905-1970  and wife of his son Denis McEniry died in her 76th year on Sat 10th Feb 2024. Kitty was born in Bruff, Co. Limerick to parents Henry O'Leary & Ellen Moloney. She was interred in Emly's new  adjoining cemetery on Tues 13th Feb. Her obituary reads as follows :

The death has taken place of Catherine ( Kitty ) McEniry of Tulla Emly, Co Tipperary and late of St Peter & Paul's Terrace, Bruff Co Limerick who passed away on February 10th 2024 peacefully in the excellent care of Tipperary University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Henry and Ellen, brothers William, John and George and sister Maura.

 Beloved wife of Denis and much loved mother of Ann Marie. Sadly missed by her loving family, son in-law Ollie and grandson Darragh, brothers Pat, Michael, Oliver and Peter, sisters Breda, Eily, Sheila and Ann, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, carers, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 Lying in repose in our Chapel of Peace in Fraser's Funeral Home Galbally, Co Limerick  on Monday February 12th 2024 from 6 to 7.30pm. Reception into St Ailbe's Church Emly Co Tipperary on Tuesday February 13th 2024 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am after which Catherine will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
