John  Lowry   was   a   railway   signalman ,  born    Co.   Tipperary   circa   1849.

He  died ,  aged  71 ,  at    Coolboy ,   Emly ,    on   the   22-11-1920.

His  wife  was  Margaret   Sullivan ,  born  Co.  Waterford  circa  1860.

Their   five   children   were   Patrick  Lowry ,  born   Co .  Cork   circa  1886 ,   Mary  Ellen  (1890-1954) ,  born   Williamstown ,  Co.  Cork  and   baptised   in   Youghal   RC. 

The   other   three   children   were   born   in   Dundrum ,  Co.  Tipperary ,  namely,   Timothy   (1894 -1969) ,    John  1898    &   Margaret   1900-1922
