James  Lynch  (1919-1983), born  in  Hospital,   Co.  Limerick  to  parents   Patrick  Lynch  (1870-1959)   and   Catherine   Hayes  (1876-1968).

Mary   Lynch  (1919-1999),  nee  Holloway,   daughter   of   John   Holloway  (1875-1921)  and   Hanora  ( Nora )   Hayes  (1874-1967)  who  were  married  in  Emly  RC   on  the  27-8-1899.

On  the  31-10- 1922 ,  Hanora  ( Nora )   Holloway  (1874-1967),  nee   Hayes,  widow  of  John  Holloway  (1875 - 1921)   remarried  to  Maurice  Meade  (1891-1972),  who  was  born  in Ballinvana, Elton,  Co.  Limerick  to  parents   John   Meade (1861-1930 ) &   Margaret   Lynch (1860-1934)   Maurice  Meade  fought  with  the  British  army  in  World  War  1,  was  captured  by  the  Germans  and  was  imprisoned  by them. 

On  his  return  to  Ireland ,   Maurice   joined  the  East  Limerick  BrIgade  of  the  I.R.A.  and  notably  played  a  major  role  in  the  1921  Dromkeen,  Co.  Limerick  ambush   of  a  Black & Tan  convoy,  in  which   eleven   Black &  Tans  were  killed.   Maurice  joined  the  Irish  Free  State  army  on  the  30-3-1922  as  Company  Sergeant  and  was  promoted  to  2ND  Lieutenant   on  the  03-3-1923.  He was  discharged  from  the  army  on  the  30-9-1924  as  being  medically  unfit.

Siblings of Maurice Meade included the eldest Mary Meade 1886, William 1887 ( married Anne Connell in Knocklong RC in 1913 ), Michael 1889-1971 ( married Bridget Murnane 1891-1935 in Knocklong RC in 1911),  John 1892  & James 1896-1968 ( married Margaret (Madge) Ryan 1912-2002 in Kilmallock RC in 1932). He and his wife Madge are interred in Athenacey cemetery near Elton, Co. Limerick. See reference number LI-ANBV-0005 on the historic graves.com website.

William  Holloway  (1873-1923),  brother   of   John  Holloway  (1875-1921),  and  son  of  James   Holloway  (1826-1886)   &   Bridget  Hart  ( 1832-1907),  married  Mary  Butler.   Their  children  included   James Holloway  1900,   John  (1902-1903),  William  1904,  John   1905Anthony  1908  &  Ailbe  1911.
