NB.  The  Katie  Keating  referred  to  twice  is  the  same  person  and  was the daughter  of  farmer  William  Ryan  &  his  wife  Johanna  Ryan  of  Gurteen,  Emly.  She  was  born  in  1873.

NB.  William  Keating  had  a pub  in  Tulla  in  1911  Census.  This  premises  was  later  owned  by  Bradshaws,  Mick  Hanly  and  the  current  owner  is  Billy  O’Donnell  of  O’Donnell  Engineering.

William  Keating  was  the  son  of  farmer  Edmond  Keating  and  his  wife  Bridget  Humphries  of  Cullen,  Co. Tipperary.
