NB. John  Creagh  (1833-1903) was a publican & blacksmith  in  Emly village.  His wife was Mary Daly (1844-1902). They were married in Emly RC on the 23rd Jan 1861.

Their children included  Johanna Creagh (1862-1874), Kate (1864-1865), Lawrence (1866-1932), Maryanne 1868, Hanora (1870-1871), Edmond (1872-1936), John 1874 & Bartholomew (1884-1942).

The youngest  son, Bartholomew  (Bart) Creagh 1884-1942, a priest, was PP in Swords, Co. Dublin  during  the  1930’s.

His brother, Edmond  Creagh  (1872-1936) married Margaret  Coffey, daughter of  Cornelius Coffey & Mary Allen of Newport, Co. Tipperary on the 8th Jan 1913 in St Joseph's RC, Limerick City.

Children born to them in Emly  included  Bartholomew Creagh  1915, Cornelius Joseph 1918 & Lawrence 1920.
