Notes:

NB. Duntryleague,  parish  of  Galbally,  Co.  Limerick.

NB. Ballyfruta / Ballyfroota,  parish  of  Glenbrohane,  Co.  Limerick

NB. Headstone  damaged  by  Storm  Darwin  12-02-2014.  The  inscription  face  of  the  stone  is to the ground  and  is  not  visible.  The  inscription  was  previously  recorded  in  the 1993  book, “ The Gravestone  Inscriptions  of  Emly”.

Mary Christina  Quish  (1894-1906)  was  the daughter  and eldest  child  of  Martin  Quish  &  Margaret  Coskeran. Cause  of  death  was TB.

Her siblings included Michael  Quish (1895-1931), Denis 1897, Thomas John 1898, Nora 1899, Josephine 1900, Martin 1905, Patrick 1907, John 1908  & James 1912.

NB. Daughter, Margaret  Quish  died 18-10- 1929 ?.

This may have been a transcription  error originally because  there  appears to be no birth record  for a daughter of Martin  Quish's  with  the  first  name  of  Margaret ?

Maybe Nora (1899) or Josephine (1900) had Margaret as a first or second name  or could the Margaret in question have been a daughter-in-law of Martin Quish

Michael Quish (1895-1931) was a commercial traveller.

See  1901  & 1911 census  records  for  Duntryleague,  Co. Limerick.
