Michael Burke (1876-1948), known as Mick, married Julia O’Brien (1872-1950), a native of Doon, Kishkeam, Co. Cork in the Sacred Heart RC , Kishkeam, Co. Cork on the 21-04-1896.  Both are of this memorial.

Children born to them were as follows:

Michael Burke (1896-1962). See memorial no. 0336.

Patrick Burke (1898-1946), known as Paddy, of this memorial, married Mary Carroll (1916-1985). After Paddy’s death, his widow Mary remarried to Jack O’Dwyer. Mary is interred at memorial no. 0392.

Johanna Burke  (1899-1973), known as Josie, married Jimmy Black (1899-1956), a native of Tipperary Town . Hannie Burke (1919-1982) of this memorial, was a daughter of Josie’s. Both Jimmy & Josie Black are interred in St. Michael’s old cemetery in Tipperary Town.

Hanora Burke (1901-1983), known as Nonie, married Patrick Raleigh (1893-1971), a native of Ballywire, near Kilross.  Both are interred at memorial no. 0513.

David Burke (1911-1990), known as Davy, married Mary O’Brien (1914-1999), of Oola, Co. Limerick. Davy is interred at memorial no. 0575 and Mary is interred in St. Michael’s cemetery in Tipperary Town.
