Patrick (Paddy) O’Shea 1886-1939, was born in in Glenbane, Lattin, Co. Tipperary on May 26th 1886 to parents William O’ Shea & Ellen Gorman who were married in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary on Jun 21st 1880. His siblings included John O’ Shea 1880, Richard 1882-1915, Margaret 1884-1961 (of this memorial ), Mary (Mollie) 1888-1944 ( of nearby memorial 0229) & Ellen 1890-1890.

Paddy O’Shea 1886-1969, married Kathleen Heffernan 1920-1995, daughter of Edmond Heffernan & Catherine (Kate) Kelly on Jun 16th 1945 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary. Children born to them at Glenbane included William O’Shea 1946, Mary M 1947, Ellen 1950 & Gerard (of this memorial) 1957-1997.

Margaret O’Shea 1884-1961 (of this memorial) married John Canavan on Dec 13th 1917 in Emly RC. At the time of the marriage John was recorded as a soldier in France during World War 1 and he was also recorded as a soldier living at Sackville St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada when his son William Canavan was born in Glenbane on July 16th 1920.

The correct year of death for Margaret Canavan (nee) O’Shea was 1961.
