William Hennessy 1837-1921, son of farmer John Hennessy & Bridget Blackburn of Lisobyhane, Emly, married Catherine Ryan 1836-1920, daughter of farmer John Ryan of Brackile, Pallasgrean, Co. Limerick in Templebredon RC on the 11-2-1868. Children included the following

Bridget Hennessy, born 1868, married James O’Brien, son of farmer Patrick O’Brien of Tineteriffe, near Cappamore, Co. Limerick in Mount St. Alphonsus RC, Limerick City on the 11-2-1893.

Margaret Hennessy (1870-1910), married William O’Regan (1868-1934) of Duncummin, Emly, a son of farmer Patrick O’Regan (1835-1889) & Mary O'Brien (1836-1890) of Ballinlough, Kilteely, Co. Limerick,on the 8-2-1902 in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary. Margaret died of Purperal fever, a month after the birth of her daughter, Catherine. An older daughter, also called Catherine, had died about three weeks  prior to that. Children born to Margaret & William were as follows, Patrick (Pa) O'Regan 1902-2002, William (Willie) 1904-1997, Mary 1905, Bridget 1906, Catherine 1907-1910, Margaret 1908 & Catherine 1910.

Sarah Hennessy (1871-1953), married  William O’Neill of Sologhead, Co. Tipperary and  is interred at  memorial number  0275.

John Hennessy (1875-1952), married Alice Cloghessy (1877-1957), daughter of farmer William Cloghessy & Bridget Mulcahy of Ballinvreena, Glenbrohane Co. Limerick on the 28-2-1911 in Glenbrohane RC, Co. Limerick.

Children included William Hennessy (1912-1993), who married Catherine ( Kitty ) Humphries, daughter of William Humphries  in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary on Apr 24th 1946. His brother John Joseph  Hennessy 1915-1997 married Catherine Ryan 1917-1998, daughter of William J Ryan & Mary Ryan of Cromhill, Kilteely, Co. Limerick on Jul 18th 1942 in Kilteely RC.
