Thomas Leamy (1826-1908) married Hanora Franklin (1841-1901) in Emly RC on the 11-02-1867.

Their children, born in Ballyhone, Emly  were Michael Leamy (1868-1900), Mary (1869-1933), Thomas (1870-1936), Johanna (1872-1948), triplets Patrick , John & Hanora who all died within a short time of birth in Dec 1874, Eliza (1876-1878), Eliza (1879-1949) & Hanora (1885 - )

Johanna  Leamy (1872-1948) emigrated to the USA in Mar 1892 where she married William Coyle. Their children were Honora Coyle (1900-1974), Mary Elizabeth (1901-1965) & Alma  Rose (1904-1979) Johanna died  on the 13-02-1948 in Chattanooga, Hamilton, Tennessee and was interred in Mount Olivet cemetery in East Ridge, Hamilton, Tennessee.

Johanna's  sister  Mary Leamy (1869-1933)  married  James Kirby, son of Thomas Kirby & Johanna Connors of Ballinlina, Kilfinnane,Co.Limerick in Emly RC on the 30-11-1901.

Their daughter Elizabeth  Kirby was born in Ballinlina, Kilfinnane on the 22-02-1912. She married  Paddy Alymer in Newcastlewest RC, Co. Limerick on the 17th Jan 1945. She died in Ballyvistea, Emly  on the 03-05-1982. Paddy  Alymer ( 1908 -   ) who  died in Ballyvistea , Emly, was  a native of  Bealduvroga, Ballingarry, Co. Limerick. His parents were John Alymer &  Ellen Enright. Paddy was interred  in his native area.

Their  son  Michael Alymer (1953-1993)  and their daughter  Helen  Alymer (1949-2002) were interred   at this memorial in February 1993 & January 2002 repectively. Helen Alymer's name was recorderd on this memorial in April 2021.

Their  daughter  Betty O’Keefe, nee Alymer  (1947-2016) , wife of Mossie O’Keefe , was interred  in  Ballyduff , Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford  on Sunday  08-05-2016.

Their son , Johnny  Alymer (1946-2016) of Ballyvistea, Emly,  who died  on the 05-07-2016 was interred  in  Emly’s  new cemetery  on  Friday  08-07-2016.

Johnny  Alymer (1946-2016)  was survived  by his wife  Mary , nee Nugent , a native of  Ballyagran, Co. Limerick, by his sons  Brendan, John  & Christopher,  by his daughters  Sharon,  Lorraine  & Lizzie and by his brothers  Patsy,  Jimmy  & Tom.

His brother, Jimmy  Alymer (1954-2020) died in Cork University Hospital on the 27-10-2020  following a stroke and was interred at this memorial on Thursday 29-10-2020 during Covid 19 funeral restrictions.

At the time of his death, Jimmy was survived by his immediate family of brothers Patsy & Tom.

A memorial to Jimmy Alymer was erected adjacent to this memorial in April 2021.

His brother, Patrick ( Patsy ) Alymer 1948-2023, died in Blackrock, Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford on the 3rd May 2023 and was cremated at the Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork on the 8th May 2023.At the time of his death,Patsy was survived by his immediate family of brother Tom.
