Here lies the remains of Philip Murray who/ departed this life the 27th of September. 1775 /Aged 73 years with his father and mother/ and also his wife Catherine Murray al./ Barron Fitzgerald who departed this life/ the 4th November 1759. Likewise Mrs./ Elenor Murray Alias Langton Wife of Emman/uel Murray who departed this life 9th /May 1772 aged 38 years with six of her/ Children viz. Philip, Silvestor, Jane, Anne,/ Catherine, & Mary, Also Mary Murray/ Daughter of Philip Murray who departed/ this life the 12th of October 1805 aged/ 65 years./ May their Souls Rest in Peace Amen

Chest tomb of inscribed rectangular cover-slab. This is decorated with an IHS below a cross with expanded terminals with an internal sunburst and an external sunburst this is flanked by two urns in rectangular round topped panels with flaming elaborate chalices in relief. There are also slight traces of a scroll which seems to be inscribed with Gloria in Excelsis Deo. The slab covers 4 plain panels and legs.
