NB. Catherine Crowe who had this memorial erected and the Catherine Crowe who died in 1975 are one and the same person.

Catherine Crowe  ( nee ) Sheehan 1875-1971 who had this memorial erected was the daughter of Thomas Sheehan & Catherine  ( Kitty ) Ryan of this memorial,who were married in Emly RC, Co. Tipperary on the 21st Oct 1863. She was born in Ballyrobin, Cullen, Co. Tipperary on Jan 10th 1875 and her address was Deerpark, Shronell, Co. Tipperary at the time of her death on Jan 18th 1971.

She married tailor William Crowe 1876-1940, son of John Crowe & Margaret Hayes of Ballycohy, Shronell, Co Tipperary on Nov 10th 1895 in Lattin RC, Co Tipperary.

Children born to them were Catherine ( Kate ) Crowe 1896-1966, John 1899, Thomas 1905-1995, Michael 1909, Patrick 1910 & Johanna 1916.

Thomas Crowe 1905-1995 died in Waterbury, New Haven, CT, USA on the 3rd Mar 1995.

His sister, Johanna Crowe, married Philip Hynan, son of John Hynan & Anne Meara of Carrigmore, Oola, Co. Limerick on the 6th Feb 1945 in Lattin RC, Co. Tipperary.
