James (Jimmy) Cahill 1926-2003, son of Denis Cahill 1878-1944 & Mary Bermingham 1882-1975. See notes for nearby memorial 0017. Jimmy's wife Nellie,nee Horan on Apr 27th 2026 and was interred at this memorial on Thursday Apr 30th. Her obituary reads as follows :
The death has occurred of Ellen (Nellie) Cahill (née) Horan of Ballyneety, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick Peacefully at St. John's Hospital, Limerick, on 27th April 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband James and her grandchildren Deirdre and Ollie, her brother John and her sister Norrie (Tyrell).
Deeply regretted by her loving children Denis, Mary (Dolan), Noreen (Kearney), Helen (Gleeson), Eamonn, Bob, Áine (O'Brien) and Tom, grandchildren, great grandchild, sister Sr. Jane Horan (St. Xavier's Convent, Ennis), sons in law & daughters in law Majella, Eamonn, John, Richard, Jane, Eileen, Adrian and Rachel, sister in law Margaret Horan, nieces, nephews, cousin Fr. Sean Horan, kind neighbours and friends.
Nellie will be reposing at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick on Wednesday evening 29th April from 5.00pm until 7pm.
Funeral cortége arriving at St. Brigid's Church, Templebredon on Thursday morning 30th April at 11am for requiem mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Templebredon cemetery.
