Underneath this tomb are intered the remains of William Bennet of Astanagh near Granard, who departed this life 5th July 1830, aged 60 years.  Also his wife Anne Bennet who departed this life 25th July 1830, aged 58 years. Erected by their sons Robert and Abraham Bennet as a token of gratitude to their memory.
