    This tablet has been erected 
by the Parishioners and Proprietors
of this parish in testimony of their
affection and respect  for the late
      Rev d. Michael H.Becher
who during a ministry of 47 years
as Curate and 10 months as Rector
was their valued pastor and kind friend.
He entered into his rest
on the 16th. December 1847.
