Notes:

We have recently been informed that Tony Benn  who served as cabinet minister in two governments in England during the 1960's and 70's may be  related to the Benn family buried here but this remains unproven, however, it is worth noting that an Anthony  Benn is interred here. The Benns intermarried with the Bolster family who ran a number of corn and flour mills in Lombardstown, Curraghbower  and in other local locations. The Benn family owned a  nearby flour mill  in Millford, beside Longfields Bridge which is now an occupied dwellinghouse. Thereb are more Benns buried  in the grave beside this one which is number 254 on the database.
