"The graveyard contains some interesting stones. Several black-letter inscriptions are mentioned, but they have disappeared or been buried. A cross in relief inscribed GEARGAIN I could not find. There is a broken crucifix-slab, inscribed in English by Denis Ferelly (PI. XX: 4); the back has a ringed cross with cord-moulded border. An elaborate slab shews a recumbent priest (PI. XX: 3); above his right shoulder is a winged head, above the left an open book with the words " Liber . . . ." The border is inscribed in remembrance of the pastor of Moybolgue and Kilmainham Wood who died 2/11/1721."
