The address for this grave is Derryneil.Martin Grenham, Derryneil first marriage was to Ann Cusack date unknown as it was pre Civil Records 1864 & no records exist for Moore Parish before that date.

Martin & Ann Cusack were parents to Joseph 1862 (he was R.I.C.) he married Bridget Naughton, Columper on the 26/01/1891, Mary 1865, John 1867 & William 18 October 1869 who died 28 February 1871.

Ann Cusack/Grenham died 14 February 1871 age 40 years from "internal cancer" her death was registered by Mary Grenham, Derryneil.

Martin Grenham, widower remarried Ann Goode, Derrylahan daughter of William Goode on the 2 May 1872 in Moore Church with Laurence Grenham & Ellen Goode as witnesses.

Martin Grenham & Ann Goode declared in 1911 census that they were parents to 12 children.

William 1873-1891, Matthew 1875-1953,  Martin 1877-1910, Bridget 1878 -1878, Patrick 1880-1891, Elizabeth 1881, Ellen 1883, Brigid 1885, Michael 1886, Catherine 1889, Patrick 1891 & Anne 1893-1913

Martin Grenham Senior died 15 August 1905 aged 76 years.

Ann Goode/Grenham is supposed to have died in 1917 but unable to find a death record.

Civil Record; Martin Grenham, Main Street, Ballinasloe (Merchant) son of Matt Grenham and Ann Goode was baptised in Moore Church on the 04/01/1877. Martin married Ellen Naughton and their son Joseph was born 12/03/1910 and Martin died on the 19th May 1910. He was interred in this plot with step-mother Ann Cusack/Grenham and later his father Matthew Grenham.

Footnote; Immediately after this memorial there is a vacancy with an unmarked stone as a marker. Family have identified this stone as the resting place of Patrick Grenham, Cappahuse who died on the 02/09/1951 aged 65 years. Patrick was born in 1886, son of Martin Grenham & Mary Naughten, Cappahuse & the husband of Mary Ryan, Cappahuse daughter of Michael Ryan whom he married on the 30/07/1925 in Moore Church with Thomas Shea & Nellie Mulvee as witnesses. Patrick Grenham's wife is interred in Moore New Cemetery & Patrick's death is recorded on the Family memorial there. (Moore History Group).
