       Several   of   the   MURPHYs  were   teachers   particularly   in   Kilbonane   N. S. .   One   of   the   MURPHYs   married   an   O CALLAGHAN   girl   from   Crosspound ( an   aunt   to   Finnbarr   &   Denny    who   ran   the   very   famous   Pub )  -   the   celebrated   Cork   actress   and   comedienne   Mon   Murphy   is   a   descendant   of   theirs.
