William  Lundon (1839-1909), son of Michael Lundon & Alice Moloney of Ballinlough, Kilteely, Co. Limerick, was baptised in Kilteely RC on the 31st Aug 1839.

He was a member of the Fenian Brotherhood and following the 1867 Fenian Rising, was imprisoned for two years. He was a supporter of John Redmond’s Irish Parliamentary Pary

He was a classical teacher in Kilteely and was elected MP for East Limerick in 1900.

He was ill with a severe cold for several weeks before his death in London on Mar 24th 1909. His funeral took place from New Pallas, Co. Limerick railway station to Kilteely on the 27th Apr 1909 where Requiem Mass was celebrated by John Power PP Kilteely

Chief mourners were his sons Thomas & John .Lundon and daughter Mary O’Neill

 William  Lundon (1839-1909)  married  Anne  Torpey (1850-1929), daughter of Hugh Torpey & Anne Londrigan on the 12th Feb 1879 in Kilteely RC

 Michael Lundon  24th Jan 1880. Died 24th Apr 1917 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Married Deborah  Tobin 28th Oct 1906 in Kilfinane RC, Co. Limerick. Emigrated to the USA on the SS Campania on the 13th Dec 1908

 Mary Lundon  11th Mar 1881. Died 27th Mar 1948 in Knockarron, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. A National School teacher. Married Timothy O’Neill (1889-1954) on the 27th Jul 1915 in St Joseph’s RC, Limerick City.

 Thomas  Lundon  20th Jun 1882. Died 28th Oct 1951 in Barnes, London, UK. Married Maud O’Gorman on the 27th Sep 1921 in St Peter & Paul  RC, Cork City. He was elected MP for East Limerick in the 1909 by election held to replace his late father William Lundon (1839-1909)

 John (Jack)  Lundon  27th Sep 1883. Died 19th May 1942 in Donnybrook, Dublin. Married  Mary Elizabeth Roberts on the 15th Nov 1911 at St Josephs RC, Berkley Rd, Phibsboro, Dublin

 Hugh  London  28th Dec 1884. Died Jun 1956 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. Married Margaret O’ Connor on the 17th Oct 1908 in the Bronx, New York

James Patrick Lundon  28th Nov 1885. Died 10th Jan 1940 in Watford, Hertfordshire, UK. A bachelor. Initially enliste in the Irish Guards, transferred to the  Royal Munster Fusiliers as a 2nd Lieutenant and later transferred to the Royal Flying  Corps and then to the RAF as a flying officer.

Patrick  Lundon  1st Mar 1887. Died 15-05-1891 due to influenza.

Alice  Mary London  2nd Jun 1889.  Died 14th Jul 1968 in Brandenton, Florida, USA. Married Cornelius  Joseph  Nicholas (1888-1968) on the 26th Sept 1917 in Manhattan, New York, USA. Emigrated to the USA from Liverpool, UK on the SS St Louis on the 30th Sept 1916

William  London  9th May 1891.  Died 8th May 1892 due to pneumonia
