Patrick Dillon was born 24th Nov 1909 in Coole, Kilteely to parents John Dillon & Ellen Hackett , who were married in Dromkeen RC, Co. Limerick on the 20th Nov 1897.

His wife Mary Theresa Ryan was born 22nd Apr 1908 in Boherroe, Kilmurry, Co. Limerick to parents Thomas Ryan & Mary Dillon, who were married in Kilteely RC on the 14th Oct 1903.

Both Patrick Dillon (1909-1981) and Mary Theresa Ryan (1908-1994) emigrated to the USA and arrived in New York on the SS Adriatic on the 13th May 1929. They married in Hartford, CT on the 17th Mar 1930.

Siblings of Patrick Dillon (1909-1981) included Margaret 1900, Katherine 1902-1989, John 1903-1973 of memorial 0196, Mary 1904, Thomas 1905, Paul 1908-1988 & Ellen  (Nellie) 1911 -2000.

Katherine Dillon (1902-1989) died unmarried in West Hartford, CT on the 2nd Jul 1989 and was interred in Mount Benedict cemetery in Bloomfield, Hartford, Ct.

Paul Dillon (1908-1988) died in Springfield, Massachusetts on the 15th Jul 1988. His first wife Mary E Cahillane died 1949 and he remarried to Helena R O'Leary (1924-1975) a native of Midleton, Co. Cork in Manhattan , NY in 1955. Both Paul & Helena were interred in St Michaels cemetery in Springfield.

At the time of his death Paul Dillon (1908-1988) was survived  by sons Paul F Dillon , Stephen T Dillon of Springfield MA & John A Dillon of West Springfield MA, by daughters Patricia E Ronayne of Dalton, MA & Deirdre K Dillon of Springfield MA , by sisters Katherine Dillon of West Hartford CT, & Mrs Nellie O' Connor of Middletown CT and by five grandchildren.

Ellen (Nellie) Dillon (1911-2000) married Edward James O'Connor (1906-1990), a native of Dingle, Co. Kerry on the 16th Aug 1939 in Hartford, CT. Ellen died on the 1st Jul 2000 in West Springfield MA . Both she and her husband Edward were interred in Hillcrest Park cemetery in Springfield

Their son Edward J O'Connor , born 20th Nov 1941 in Springfield MA, died 26th Jan 2011. At the time of his death, he was predeceased by a sister Ellen and survived by his wife Linda, nee Doak and siblings John, Thomas, Ann, Ellen & .Peggy.

NB. The Mary Ryan who died on the 24th Mar 1962 was the mother of Mary Theresa Ryan (1908-1994), wife of Patrick Dillon (1909-1981)
