Annie O'Leary (1908- 1979) was the youngest of nine children born to Patrick O'Leary and Bridget Ryan of Carrigkettle, Kilteely, Co. Limerick on the 15th Feb 1908.

Her other siblings were Thomas O'Leary 1893-1894, Michael 1894, William 1896-1916, Mary 1897-1986, Margaret 1899, Bridget 1902, John 1903  & Hanora 1905.

Patrick O' Leary, son of Jeremiah O'Leary, married  Bridget Ryan, daughter of William Ryan, on the 24th Jan 1893 in Kilteely RC, Co. Limerick.

Annie O' Leary (1908-1979) married  William Kinahan (1905-1993), son of William Kinahan in Kilteely RC in 1927. At the time of his marriage, William was a soldier, stationed at Limerick City barracks. Annie & William had nine children, all of whom emigrated to the USA.

The eldest child William James Kinahan, born 20th Oct 1927 in Carrigkettle was raised by his mother's sister Bridget Ryan, nee O'Leary in Gurtavalla, Doon, Co. Limerick.

He and his 16 year old sister Margaret (Peggy) Kinahan emigrated from Cobh, Co. Cork on the SS Franconia on the 4th Mar 1951 and they arrived  in New York on the 13th Mar 1951. Their destination was 39 Clarkhill Ave, Stamford, Connecticut,

William, also known as Bill, served in the US army during the Korean War.  He settled in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife  Angela Cosgrove. They had two sons William James Kinahan  jnr (1960-2019) and Donald. William ( Bill ) Kinahan  died , aged 93, in Stamford, CT on the 10th Apr 2021
He was predeceased by his son William James Kinahan jnr (1960-2019). At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Angela and son Donald. He was interred in the Queen of Peace cemetery in Stamford, Connecticut.

William James Kinahan jnr was born on the 13th July 1960 in Stamford< CT. He married Jacqueline  M Knapp, nee Lewis on the 12th Sept 1987 in Stamford, CT. He died, aged 58 years, at Stamford Hospital, CT on the 24th Mar 2019. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Jackie, his dughters Krystal & Tiffany, his son Billy, his grandson Declan, his parents William & Angela & brother Donald. He was interred in Oak Lawn cemetery in Fairfield, CT,
