Matthew Mitchell 1819-1895, erected this memorial to his father Edmond Mitchell 1786-1858. The said Matthew Mitchell married Margaret Barry 1818-1894 in Hospital RC, Co. Limerick on Feb 14th 1847.  Children born to them included Edmond Mitchell 1848-1929, Catherine 1849, Thomas B 1852-1936, Matthew 1856 & Gerald 1858-1938.

Edmond Mitchell 1848-1929, married Catherine (Kate) Murphy 1846-1928, daughter of Michael Murphy of Lodge, Hospital, Co. Limerick on May 27th 1872 in Hospital RC. Children born to them included Michael Joseph Mitchell 1874-1926, Edmond John 1876-1944, Catherine 1878, Thomas Francis 1879-1962, Ellen Mary (Aileen) 1881-1959, Gerald Francis 1885-1958 & Margaret Christina 1888-1956.

Thomas B Mitchell 1852-1936, married Anne Noonan 1855-1890, daughter of Thomas Noonan & Johanna Laffan in Monaleen RC, Limerick on Jan 27th 1876. Children born to them at Ballybricken, Co. Limerick included Margaret Mitchell 1877, Johanna Mary (Josephine) 1878-1907, Catherine (Kate) 1880, Mary Agnes (Minnie) 1881-1909, Matthew 1883-1883, Matthew N 1884-1970, Teresa 1885-1885, Angela 1887-1974 & Jane 1888.

Gerald Mitchell 1858-1938 was a doctor in Templemore, Co. Tipperary. He married Hannah C Noonan 1860-1923, daughter of Thomas Noonan & Johanna Laffan in St Patricks RC, Limerick City on Jun 20th 1883. Children born to them at Richmond, Templemore were Mary Frances Mitchell 1887 & Emily Jane 1889. Mary Frances married solicitor William Meagher in Templemore RC on Oct 18th 1911. Children born to them at Richmond Templemore were William Gerald Meagher 1912, Aileen Frances 1914, Mary Elizabeth 1917 & Joan Hannah Margaret 1919.

Matthew N Mitchell 1884-1970, recorded at adjacent memorial 0123, married Mary Anne (Marian) Quirke 1884-1962 (of this memorial), daughter of Edmond Quirke & Maria Landers in Donohill RC, Co Tipperary on Jul 14th 1909. Children born to them at Ballybricken, Co. Limerick included Thomas Mary Mitchell 1910-1987, Annie 1911, Edmond Cecil 1912, Matthew Joseph 1917, Michael Francis 1919, Gerald D 1922-1990 & Maureen 1924.

Thomas Mary Mitchell 1910-1987, married Julia M Quinlan 1908-2005, daughter of Michael Quinlan & Mary O'Gorman of Inch St Laurence, Co. Limerick on Sep 20th 1938 in St Andrews RC, Westland Row, Dublin. Both died at Baggotstown, House, Bruff, Co. Limerick and both are interred at memorial 0299 in this cemetery. Gerald D Mitchell 1922-1990, brother of Thomas Mary Mitchell is interred at adjacent memorial 0298.
